Trust and safety

Your phone number

• You sign in with a one-time code sent by SMS, or with Google. There’s no password to leak.
• Employers don’t see your number while they read applications; they message you in the app. It can be shown only after an employer moves you to the interview stage, and only on a paid plan.
• We don’t sell your personal information. You can block or report any employer from the app.

Where your data is kept

• Your profile, documents and call transcripts are stored in our database in Mumbai (Supabase, ap-south-1).
• Everything travels over encrypted connections (TLS). Names, phone numbers and other sensitive fields are encrypted at rest with AES-256.
• Aadhaar and PAN photos are kept in private storage that needs a login and a time-limited link to open. The image files themselves aren’t separately encrypted yet; we say so in the privacy policy too.
• When someone on our team opens a phone number in the admin console, it is logged.

Your voice

• Voice conversations are not recorded. Speech becomes text as you talk, and only the text is kept.
• Sarvam AI (speech) and Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini) process it in real time to run the conversation and, for interviews, to write the score and summary. Neither keeps your audio.
• AI interviews are on by default. Turn them off in Settings whenever you like.

What “verified” means

• Verification is optional. When you upload an Aadhaar or PAN photo, someone on our team checks it by hand, and your profile gets a verified badge.
• Employers can post jobs before they are verified. If a job looks wrong, or anyone asks you for money, report it. Aamdani never charges anyone for a job.

Ads

• The free app shows ads from Google AdMob. Advertisers never get your name, phone number, email or profile. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your phone’s settings.
• If an ad or a link brought you to aamdani.ai, the website remembers which one (the campaign tags in the link), the page you first landed on and the website you came from, so we can tell which ads work. It stays in your browser, not in a cookie. When you open the app from here it goes along, so it can be saved with your account when you sign up.

Your rights

• Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted.
• Delete your account from Settings and your profile, documents, applications, messages and transcripts are deleted straight away.
