Questions people ask
Is Aamdani free for job seekers?
Yes. You can apply to 5 jobs a day at no cost. There is no agent and no fee, and Aamdani never asks you to pay for a job.
How do I find a job near me?
Get the Aamdani app on Google Play (or open app.aamdani.ai in your phone’s browser) and sign in with your phone number. Tell Aamdani what work you want, by talking or typing. The job feed then shows jobs near you with the pay, the distance and the shift. Swipe right to apply.
Do I need an agent, or pay a fee, to get a job?
No. There are no middlemen: you and the employer talk to each other directly in the app. Aamdani never asks you to pay for a job. If an employer asks you for money, don’t pay. Report them from the app.
Do I need a smartphone?
For now, yes. Aamdani is an Android app on Google Play and also runs in any phone’s browser at app.aamdani.ai; an iPhone app is coming. We’re also building a phone line for people without a smartphone; it isn’t live yet.
Which languages can I use?
Hindi, English, Chhattisgarhi, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi. Both the app and Shubh, the voice assistant, work in all of them.
Will employers see my phone number?
Not while they’re looking at applications. They see your profile and message you in the app. Your number can be shown only after an employer moves you to the interview stage.
Are the employers checked?
Employers can post jobs before we check them. Those who send us their documents, which our team reviews by hand, get a verified badge. If a job looks wrong, report it from the app and we’ll look into it.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account. Your profile, applications, messages and documents are deleted straight away. You can also ask us by phone or email.
No smartphone? We’re building a phone line.
